A Teenager(17) was arrested on Thursday for allegedly kidnapping and raping a girl (8) at Opuwo’s Okondaune location.
Kunene crime investigations deputy commissioner Paavo Iyambo says the victim was allegedly raped and found at the suspect’s house.
The girl was taken to the Opuwo District Hospital, Iyambo says.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Opuwo Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
