A woman was seriously burned after a suspect allegedly kicked a pot of boiling porridge at her during an argument at Mutjiku village in the Kavango East region, on Thursday.
This was announced in the weekend crime report by national police spokesperson deputy commissioner Kauna Shikwambi.
“It is alleged that during an argument, the suspect kicked a pot of boiling porridge at the victim, causing serious burns to her face, hands and legs,” she says.
Shikwambi says the victim has been admitted to the hospital for treatment, while the suspect has been arrested and remains in police custody.
Police investigation are continuing.
