It has even become a big deal that changing your relationship status on Facebook garners arguments and breakups. It’s that bad.
Interestingly enough, no one is quite saying ‘single’ or ‘married’ any more, which is possibly why the ‘it’s complicated’ option was offered on Facebook.
asked a few readers to describe their relationship statuses in one word and the answers were pretty hilarious.
Nanguler Panduleni felt her relationship was on cloud nine. “Superb,” she answered. Fair enough.
Andrew Shatimwene’s word was straight to the point as well. “Understandable,” he said. No questions asked!
However, Selma Handobe admitted that she was in a shaky place right now. “Relationship status: Not!” Ouch. Looks like we are always going through our own struggles!
