Tonateni Shidhudhu who previously served as the Namibia Revenue Agency (Namra) manager for strategic communications and stakeholder engagements has been appointed manager for e-commerce in the Customs and Excise department.
Effective immediately, Shidhudhu will lead the agency’s implementation of its e-commerce modernisation agenda, aimed at strengthening digital trade systems, enhancing e-commerce compliance frameworks and optimising customs clearance processes for cross-border digital trade.
In his previous role he played a role in advancing institutional visibility, stakeholder relations and strategic communications initiatives.
“Namra congratulates Shidhudhu on this appointment and wishes him success as he assumes this strategic responsibility in support of the agency’s transformation and trade facilitation objectives,” the agency said in a statement issued on Thursday.
