Have you ever heard of a country without youth? Just imagine a world without young people.
They were sent to this earth to be leaders, guiders and mentors. Why should we waste and ignore them? Tomorrow it’s going to be about us, not our forefathers, so if you know that you are a youth, start thinking cognitively already.
They said no one is perfect on earth – we have to guide and correct each other when we make mistakes. Currently, the status quo of this country is the economy downgrade which has affected a large number of our population.
How are the youth supposed to be engaged in this?
Namibia is a scary place, where there’s no freedom of speech and implementation among the youth. To clarify my point, this means the youth have their ideas, but because of fear, they don’t often share them. This negatively impacts the country.
We live in a world where one can graduate and sit at home with a degree. This affects us, the youth. We are just leaving things in the hands of our parents and waiting to be spoon-fed instead of being self-starters and energetic. We need to come up with solutions to these problems.
The country’s current situation may or may not determine our future so let us not just sit down and let things be done for us. Instead, let’s inspire our fellow youth, let go of all the fears and fight for our future.
