ORLANDO Pirates have completed a deal with Maritzburg United for the services of Rudolf Bester.
The Namibian international has already been included in Julio Leal’s Vodacom Challenge squad, while the deal will also see Michael Morton moving in the opposite direction.Bester was initially unveiled as a Bucs player during their jersey launch and also appeared in their 2011/12 team photo, despite still being on Maritzburg’s books.The KZN club’s chairman, Farouk Kadodia, insisted Bester was still under contract, while Bester was of the opinion that his contract had expired at the end of June. The nippy forward is now set to make his first appearance against English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur at the Mbombela Stadium in Mbombela on Tuesday, July 19.
