Tura Magic and Blue Waters are the latest Namibia Premier league clubs to announce the signing of new coaches and management staff. Tura Magic’s technical staff will be headed by Paulus Shipanga, while Blue Waters will be headed by Gerald Guther.
In a press release issued by Tura Magic on Monday they announced that Shipanga will take over as head coach while James Britz will act as his assistant. Shipanga previously coached Blue Waters in the NPL last season.
The club has also appointed Nikita Hivei as its team manager while his predecessor Monica Shapua is now the team’s general manager.
Former coach Timo Tjongarero will be in overall charge of the club’s youth structures, from U9 to U19 level, while he will also oversee Tura Magic’s interest in its Khomas Second Division club Namib Colts FC.
Blue Waters meanwhile announced the appointment of Gerald Guther as its new head coach for the upcoming season, while he will also be the club’s director of youth development.
Guther formerly coached Premier League clubs Eleven Arrows and Blue Boys.
The rest of the coaching staff will remain unchanged. Armando Pedro, Johannes Hawala and Fischer Kalimba are the assistant coaches, Abraham Brown is the goalkeeper coach and Tostao Imbili is the team manager.
