M-Net to document King Tee Dee’s Life

BUSINESSMAN and musician King Tee Dee, formerly known as The Dogg, has partnered with M-Net to document his life in the form of a reality show.

The musician made this announcement last Thursday at the media launch of ‘The Revelation of King Tee Dee’ in Windhoek.

“I can proudly confirm that my life will be documented through M-Net and I look forward to sharing our beautiful country with the rest of the world,” shared King Tee Dee, adding that it is an honour that his work has made an impact on so many people and is deemed worth documenting. The show is estimated to have 13 to 15 episodes.

Speaking on the sequel concert to ‘29.09.18’, themed as ‘The Revelation of King Tee Dee’, he mentioned that he has once again entrusted Poiyah Media to execute the event.

“We were amazed to see the amazing support from corporates and their involvement in the music industry I and other artists have worked very hard to develop,” said King Tee Dee.

‘The Revelation of King Tee Dee’ concert will take place on Saturday, 28 September, in Windhoek and is expected to attract 20 000 concert goers. Tickets will be sold via Webtickets at all Pick n Pay stores countrywide.

An opportunity for SMEs has been made available once again to those who want to showcase their products and services at this year’s event.

“We urge all SMEs to apply for a stand at this year’s event by contacting Poiyah Media to receive the application form.

On the reason behind his rebranding, King Tee Dee said his music has evolved and the name The Dogg doesn’t suit the kind of music he is making now. He has started making Afrobeat and recently released his debut single as King Tee Dee, which features Diamond Platinumz.

“I recently premiered our Namibian work on South Africa’s YFM, allowing our unique sound to infiltrate South African homes,” he said.
