RUDOLF Bester is on cloud nine after scoring a stunning injury-time goal to help Orlando Pirates beat Jomo Cosmos 2-1 at the Orlando Stadium on Monday night.
Bester came on as a substitute and became a hero when he scored with a long-range shot in the 92nd minute to send the Buccaneers to the top of the log.
‘It’s feels great to score such a wonderful goal after so much time on the sidelines and not getting a chance to score those vital goals,’ Bester tells KickOff.com.’It was fantastic to score such a goal and hopefully it will continue to happen for Orlando Pirates.’Bester has not made much of an impact since joining Pirates from Maritzburg United. However, the arrival of Augusto Palacios as caretaker coach seems to have revived the 29-year-old and he has slowly started to get more game-time.’I have never been worried about my future at Pirates despite the lack of game-time.
