A wildfire has been burning in Etosha National Park for the past three days, after lightning sparked fires in the Halali, Kamaseb and Tsam blocks last week. Environment ministry spokesperson Vilho Hangula confirmed the fire over the weekend, saying firefighting teams have managed to keep the blaze under control, with well-maintained cutlines helping to slow its spread.
