WINDHOEK – The Brave Warriors team will depart for the Seychelles today to engage that country in an away qualifier of the African Nations Championships (CHAN) on Saturday. The tournament’s rules provide for the selection of locally-based players only.
The players are Attiel Mbaha, Virgil Vries, Steven Goagab, Ralph Ellinger, Gottlieb Nakuta, George Hummel, Ninjaa Karongee, Richard Gariseb, Nelson Geingob, Rudi Louw, Teofelus Kambungu, Ronald Ketjijere, Eslin Kamuhanga, Heinrich Isaacks, Eusebio Fredericks, Jerome Louis, Tangeni Shipahu and Edward Asino.The technical staff members are Petrus Victor (head of delegation), Tom Saintfiet (coach), Brian Isaacs (assistant coach), Fillimon Kanalelo (assistant coach), Lutz Pfannestiel (goalkeeper coach) and Gerson Kandjii as the team doctor. – Nampa
