Vivo Energy opens restaurants at Shell petrol stations

WINDHOEK – Vivo Energy Namibia (VEN) became a franchisee for Innscor’s restaurants in Namibia when it opened two food outlets in the capital and Walvis Bay recently.

VEN opened its first Chicken Inn and Pizza Inn food outlets in May at the Shell NABTA fuel station in the Northern Industrial Area along Independence Avenue and the Omega Shell fuel station in Walvis Bay this month.

“We would like our customers to have everything they need at a fuel station,” said VEN retail manager Anthony Ogalo.

He said that with the two fast food outlets, VEN is raising the bar from initially being ordinary convenient outlets to a top-class service for Shell customers to enjoy.

VEN managing director Johan Grobbelaar stated that his company plans to roll out the Innscor quick service restaurants to eight more service stations in the country by the end of this year.

Innscor Africa Limited is a Zimbabwean-based company, which operates in various industries ranging from appliances, supermarkets, food retail, distribution agencies, tourism, farming, milling and meat processing. – Nampa
