A cashier and fuel attendant were held at gunpoint by robbers who sped off with stolen items, including coins, at Noordoewer last week Friday, the police say.
The police are yet to determine the identities of the suspects and an investigation is currently underway.
“The suspects held the cashier and petrol attendant at gunpoint, removed cash from the
cash register, broke the office door with a Tommy-bar, took coins and ran off. It is further alleged that the four suspects came from different directions before they held the petrol attendants at gunpoint. They entered the shop and robbed them of their properties before they ran off,” says a police report.
