Charene Labuschagne crowned Miss Namibia 2026

Charene Labuschagne was crowned Miss Namibia 2026 at Gobabis on Saturday evening, succeeding Johanna Swartbooi.

Rechelle Hamases was named first princess, while Albertina Haimbala was crowned second princess.

Speaking at the pageant, former Miss Namibia chief executive Umbi Karuaihe-Upi thanked Namibians and the international community for their support of the Miss Namibia Organisation.

Reflecting on the pageant’s development, Karuaihe-Upi said it had transformed “into a powerful movement for social change, an achievement made possible through vision, dedication and collective support”.

As part of her prize package, Labuschagne will receive a fully furnished house and a car.
