Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) has announced that from 7 May 2025, all NamLeisure card holders will enjoy discounted rates on camping across all its resorts and campsites.
This new benefit forms part of NWR’s ongoing efforts to make local travel more affordable and accessible, particularly for Namibians, Southern African Development Community (SADC) residents and international travellers who favour outdoor living experiences.
NWR spokesperson Nelson Ashipala in a press release on Wednesday said the NamLeisure card previously offered savings on resort accommodation only.
With this expansion, cardholders can now enjoy camping discounts of 40% for Namibians, 30% for SADC residents and 10% for international visitors.
“We have listened to our clients, especially our growing community of campers. This move ensures that whether you’re pitching a tent in Etosha or sleeping under the stars at Ai-Ais, you can enjoy more for less with your NamLeisure card,” he said.
The NamlmLeisure card is available in solo, plus, family, student and corporate options, making it suitable for a variety of travellers, including individuals, families, students and organisations.
Ashipala also stated that the addition of camping discounts aims to provide more value for nature lovers and frequent explorers, enhancing the overall appeal of domestic and regional travel.
