Nedbank Namibia will host the second Future of Business Conference later this month, bringing together entrepreneurs, business leaders and industry experts.
The announcement was made by Nedbank spokesperson Selma Kaulinge in a media statement issued on Friday.
Kaulinge says micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) remain central to Namibia’s economy.
“At Nedbank Namibia, we believe that MSMEs are the backbone of our economy and key drivers of innovation, employment, and sustainable growth,” she says.
Kaulinge says the conference aims to give entrepreneurs insights, practical knowledge, and networking opportunities to help them expand their businesses in a changing economic environment.
The programme includes presentations by OL Group chief executive Sven Thieme, Cirrus Capital economist Ida Williams and Nedbank Group chief marketing officer Khensani Nobanda, among other Namibian and African business leaders.
Future Media director Stefan Hugo says the conference seeks to connect businesses while contributing to long-term economic growth.
“We want the conference to be a powerful enabler of the MSME community and a driver of economic growth in Namibia because job creation has to happen through that,” he says.
