BEING N$127 million in debt has not stopped state broadcaster NBC from splurging out on new equipment.
It is to receive 30 digital Sony ENG cameras worth N$5,5 million for its news and sports divisions from South African-based Spescom Media IT, a specialist media company. This deal has been finalised while another is in the pipeline to do a studio upgrade to the tune of N$25 million for the upcoming elections, Spescom Managing Director Sean du Toit has confirmed.
