MTC introduces new data bundle rates

MTC has dropped tariffs for both its pre-paid and post-paid data customers.

In a statement issued on Friday, the mobile service provider said that it has cut the rates on all its data bundles with immediate effect, making the cost of surfing the internet, downloading and uploading data much lower.The new tariffs have seen the cost of a two gigabyte (GB) data bundle lowered from N$800 to N$449.The price of 50 megabyte (MB) data bundles has also gone down by N$5 to N$25, while 100MB data bundles now cost N$39, down from N$55. Other price decreases mean that a 500MB data bundle which previously cost N$250 now costs N$149, while the price of a 1GB data bundle has gone down to N$249 from N$450. A bigger data bundle of 5GB has also been introduced which will be sold at N$999.The new prices also apply to customers using OfficeBox solutions, MTC said in the media statement. – Nampa
