Body found in city water facility identified

The body of a man who was found in the machine used in the water treatment process at Gammas Water Care Works facility in Windhoek on Sunday has been identified as that of Euhudt Timbo.

Police national spokesperson deputy commissioner Kauna Shikwambi in a statement issued on Tuesday says Timbo is suspected to have been murdered, and washed through the drainage system.

“The decomposed body of 47-year-old Timbo was discovered with visible injuries at the facility on Sunday,” she says.

Shikwambi said the next of kin has been informed, and no suspect(s) have been arrested.

She said the investigation is ongoing.
