The police suspect he may have died of starvation.
Kavango East crime investigations coordinator deputy commissioner Bonifasius Kanyetu said the deceased is a needy person.
"It is believed that the deceased was in search of food and it's suspected that he could have died of starvation."
Kanyetu said no foul play is suspected.
No identification was found on the deceased, said Kanyetu.
His body was taken to the Rundu State Mortuary for possible identification.
Kanyetu said investigations are ongoing.
He requested the public's assistance to identify the deceased. He said anyone at Rundu who may have a missing family member should contact the Rundu Police Station.
