A man (23) was arrested at Tsumeb for allegedly molesting his nephew (4).
The incident allegedly took place on 4 August at Kuvukiland in the Oshikoto region.
The police say the boy’s aunt, who reported the incident, said the child had demanded to sleep over at the uncle’s nearby shack.
When the boy returned the following morning he told his aunt what happened, Oshikoto regional police commander Theopoline Kalompo-Nashikaku says.
The uncle was arrested on Wednesday and will appear in the Tsumeb Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
