Letshego share price drops despite payouts

Letshego Namibia’s share price has declined over the past year despite the company paying substantial dividends to shareholders.

According to the Namibia Securities Exchange (NSX) report by PSG Wealth Namibia, Letshego ended the trading session unchanged at N$5.55.

The stock has come under pressure over the past year, declining by 14.75% and making it one of the weaker performers among financial services shares listed on the NSX.

Currently Letshego has more than 6 500 shareholders and a market capitalisation of N$3.2 billion.

Market capitalisation (often called market cap) is the total value of a company on the stock market.

For the 2025 financial year, Letshego Holdings Namibia distributed a total of N$454.5 million in ordinary dividends.

An interim ordinary dividend of 47.02 cents per share (totaling N$235.1 million) was declared and paid in November 2025.

A final ordinary dividend of 43.88 cents per share (totaling N$219.4 million), in respect of the previous financial year (2024), was paid in June 2025.

Additionally, the group declared a final ordinary dividend for the 2025 financial year of 54.14 cents per share (totaling N$271 million), which was payable to shareholders on 24 April.

Beyond ordinary dividends, the group also paid a preference share coupon dividend of N$13.4 million during the 2025 financial year.
