The full national costume will be only be revealed live this evening, at the finals of pageant, which will be streamed on the Miss Supranational YouTube channel.

The pageant take place in Nowy Sącz, Poland, tonight and will see last year”;s winner, Chanique Rabe from Namibia, crown her successor.

The national costume was carefully designed by The Costume Dept, and draws inspiration from the Namibian skyline, having been photographed by Mika Andimba.

“Growing up in Namibia, every night when you look up in the sky there”;s a beautiful skyline staring back at you. We are taught every star represents a human soul, their dreams, aspirations and goals.

“Inspired by the midnight sky that you can only see in the vast Namibian desert. I love everything about the costume. How is looks and what is represents makes me proud,” Mbangula says.

The piece represents her hopes and dreams, while the shooting stars are her aspirations, she says.

“I want every Namibian to feel that nothing is ever too big for them and that they should pursue it with everything in them and believe that they can do it,” she says.

Thus far the pageant has been challenging because it is an international competition, but Mbangula says she”;s enjoying every moment.

“I am here to live out my purpose. I am so grateful to be here. I have a great platform to showcase Namibia to the world,” she says.
