Former Namibia Central Intelligence Service (NCIS) director general and Namibian Police chief Lucas Hangula has died after a short illness.
A family member who declined to be named confirmed Hangula’s death on Monday.
The Presidency is expected to make an announcement on his death.
Hangula previously served as police inspector general until 2005.
