DIYOGHA – The police in the Kavango Region on Sunday arrested a 22-year-old man who had allegedly stabbed his elder sister several times following an argument over food.
The incident occurred between 14h00 and 15h00 at Dighova village, which is situated some 190 km east of Rundu in the Mukwe constituency.The deceased and other family members apparently finished a pot of pap without leaving some for the accused. The man then took out a knife and stabbed his sister, Kathiku Imelda Ngandu (27), several times before hitting her on the head with a rock. Detective Inspector Chrispin Mubebo said Ngandu died instantly. – Nampa
