Dulux gives Katima schools paint ahead of Newspaper Cup

DULUX Namibia and Hardap Freight Services have donated paint worth N$20 000 to two schools at Katima Mulilo.

The paint will be used to give the hostels at the schools, Katima Mulilo Secondary School and the Saint Kizito College a facelift, as well as repaint a sports complex that will host Newspaper Cup over the Easter weekend.

The initiative was the brainchild of Dulux, which started in October last year with the aim of donating paint worth N$5 000 to two schools around Namibia each month. Hardap Freight Services also joined the initiative to donate N$10 000 towards the painting of the schools and the stadium.

“Dulux will provide paint for the hostels, while Hardap Freight Services will donate paint for the soccer stadium,” said Loubser Rousseau, operational manager at Dulux.

The official handing-over will be today at the Katima MuliloTown Council, and the painting of the hostels will be done by the schools themselves.
