BLACK Africa moved 12 points clear at the top of the log after a clinical 2-0 victory over Eleven Arrows in Walvis Bay on Saturday.

Goals by Marco van Wyk and Denzil Haoseb gave them their 13th victory of the season, which maintains their unbeaten run so far this season.With only six more rounds to go they are virtually assured of winning the league title for the second year in a row.Marco van Wyk opened the scoring midway through the first half when he stabbed in from close range after fine interplay with Jerome Louis.Denzil Haoseb made it 2-0 on 65m when he headed home a freekick by Warren Neidel.Arrows pushed hard in the final stages but Black Africa’s defence stood firm to hold on for the victory.At the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek, Mighty Gunners and Tigers played to a 1-all draw.Gunners took the lead after only 10m through a great strike by Harold Ochurub, who pounced on to a loose ball to smash it high into the net.Tigers had a goal disallowed by Benson Shilongo in the first half for a handball, but they came back strongly in the second half and their pressure finally paid off seven minutes from time.Pineas Jacob ran onto a great through ball into the box by Mervin Mbakera and slotted the ball high into the net from close range.At the SKW Stadium, SKW were held to a goalless draw by Blue Waters in an uneventful match. – namibiasport.com.na
