A cake decorating workshop, hosted by Marion, takes place at Droombos this Saturday from 08h30 to 16h30. Have some fun, chat a little, and learn a lot whether you’re just curious or ready to start your cake decorating journey. No experience is needed and participation will cost you N$2 500, which includes all materials, equipment, a light lunch and refreshments.

The National Theatre of Namibia is hosting their advanced ‘Stage Actors Training Lab’ this Saturday in its Rehearsal Room between 09h00 and 13h00. These sessions are for aspiring actors, emerging performers and professional actors seeking to refine their craft. Actress Hazel Hinda will be facilitating a session on text analysis and emotional truth in performance. N$50-per-class tickets are only available via webtickets.

This Saturday at 21h00 ‘The Rave ft Pierre Pienaar Live’ is cooking at MYNT Nightclub Windhoek. Included in the line-up is DJ Sergio and DJKR4NKY. Join them for a fun night of electronic music.

Next Saturday, 23 May, the National Theatre of Namibia is hosting a beginner’s ‘Stage Actors Training Lab’, with Lize Ehlers at the helm, speaking on breath, projection and clarity for voice and speech.

Pilates instructor Nimsi hosts near daily classes at 3B Gerald Evans at Olympia. There are hour-long slots on Mondays at 16h00, Tuesdays at 17h00 and 18h00, Thursdays at 08h30, and Fridays at 07h30 for N$100.

Drop in on quiz night and flex your cerebral cortex at Piccolo Cafe and Lounge every Tuesday from 18h30. Entry is N$30 per person for groups of maximum six.

The Speakeasy in Liliencron Street is hosting a ladies’ night every Wednesday, with 50% off of all cocktails and meal options available.

Every Thursday, Kat Stahl is hosting swing dance classes at Delta Kindergarten between 18h00 and 19h00. Participation is N$150 per person per class. No experience or partner needed.

Every other Thursday, a social activity event, ‘Make Friends and Bla Bla Language Exchange’, takes place at Urban Oasis Apartments in Windhoek from 20h00 to 22h00. Come through, mingle and get acquainted free of charge.

You can now join Nice Dance Kizomba dance classes at their Windhoek Academy on Fridays between 17h30 and 19h00 at the National Theatre of Namibia’s Rehearsal Room. Lessons are N$100 per person.

On 30 May, The National Theatre of Namibia is hosting its second advanced ‘Stage Actors Training Lab’ with Hazel Hinda, where participants will cover character development.

Droombos in Windhoek is hosting ‘The Baby Expo’ on Saturday, 30 May. Attendees can expect top brands and exhibitors in fertility, maternity, pregnancy and early childhood, food stalls, fun kids’ activities, entertainment and a baby photo competition. Entry is N$120 for everyone aged 16 and up.
