WhatsOn Namibia launches Webtickets Namibia

WhatsOn, a proudly Namibian owned company, last week launched Webtickets Namibia. The partnership, in collaboration with Pick n Pay Namibia, will offer a service that will sell tickets for events.

Webtickets Namibia, owned by Delia Magg-Thesenvitz and Drienie Ellis, promises to be an innovative and a convenient ticketing and event registration service provider. The tickets can be bought online or at selected Pick n Pay stores around the country.

Thesenvitz emphasised that the event promoters and organisers can make use of Webtickets Namibia because it offers many features such as buying online, allowing for the use of credit and debit cards. It will also allow for the use of a floor seating plan and different ticket packages.

Pick n Pay Namiba’s finance director Waldemar von Lieres expressed the retailers’ excitement at being part of the innovation.

“Growth and innovation remains a critical part of Pick n Pay Namibia, not only for the company alone but for the benefit of all Namibians,” he said.

He also added that the partnership is a testimony to the dedication and growth that Pick n Pay Namibia has to offer.

Webtickets Namibia’s mobisite and app will be available in 2017.
