What’s In The Bag?

Have you ever wondered what Skrypt keeps in his backpack, or what Adora carries around with her wherever she goes?

Well, wonder no more, because Reggie Zaire of Reggie Films is here to satiate your curiosity with his new online series ’10 Things’, which features celebrity guests emptying their bags, rummaging through their belongings and going into detail about the items they’ve just got to have on them at all times.

“I wanted people to be with their favourite personalities on a more intimate level and give them the sort of access they wouldn’t normally be able to have,” says Zaire, who has worked with top Namibian musicians in creating award-winning visuals for their music videos, and who owns a locally produced Gin called ZA.ir.

The series is available for viewing on Reggie Films’ YouTube page, with five episodes out so far and many more on their way.

In studio he had glamour model Jhonte ‘BaddestBubbleButt’ Moller, Namibia Annual Music Awards hip-hop artist of the year Skrypt, make-up artist and personality Jay Aeron, rapper AntanyKnows and jewellery designer and ‘The Bachelor South Africa’ participant Andeline Wieland.

He says audiences can look forward to more episodes soon, hinting at an upcoming episode featuring kwaito artist Manxebem, which he thinks would be fascinating.

Zaire says he plans to feature a wide variety of people, even those who have been ‘cancelled’ by society.

So far some of the stand-out items the celebs have carted around in their bags include a sex toy, a glass of wine, mini DIY waxing strips and a chess set.

“There were no boundaries. I told them they could bring anything, and they really did. It really allowed them to show a different and interesting side to themselves people may not know.”

Zaire says the aim of the series was to shine a light on personalities other than musicians, because a lot of local content only focused on singers and performances. He wanted something a little more out of the box.

Though they do not have an official drop schedule, going merely with people’s responses to each release, Zaire says viewers should look out because there is plenty more in store.
