Welwitschias take on the Griffons

THE Welwitschias, who are still in search of a win, travel to Rustenburg to take on Northern Free State Griffons in the SuperSport Rugby Challenge on Sunday.

Both teams have been struggling in the competition, with the Welwitschias bottom of the North Section log after three matches, while the Griffons are fifth with just one win from their three matches.

The match takes place at the Impala Rugby Club in Rustenburg, and not at the Griffons’ traditional home ground in Welkom, since it forms part of a double header which will be televised live by Supersport.

The Griffons v Welwitschias encounter starts at 12h25 and will be followed by the match between the Leopards and Valke at 14h25.
