The United States has sent a message of congratulations to Namibia as the country celebrates 36 years of independence.
The message comes from American secretary of state, Marco Rubio, through a press release on Saturday.
“We send our best wishes for continued peace, progress and a joyous Independence Day celebration,” Rubio says.
He also says the United States would continue to collaborate with Namibia on issues of health and economic development.
“As Namibia continues to build a prosperous future, the United States remains committed to strengthening our bilateral relationship and working together to create opportunity for all our people,” Rubio says.
