The Namibian National Symphony Orchestra will be having a concert today and tomorrow at the Dutch Reformed Church in Windhoek, featuring conductor Walter-Michael Vollhardt. The event starts at 19h30 on both days. The church is located at the corner of Lüderitz and Daniel Manumava streets.
The National Art Gallery of Namibia is hosting the College of the Arts’ ‘New Beginnings’ exhibition. This exhibition includes works from the department of visual art and fashion design and opens at 18h00. The exhibition ends on 9 March.

The Brewer and Butcher Beer Garden is hosting ‘For The Love Of Words’, a poetry evening tomorrow with Lydia October as the guest performer. The dress code is red and white, red and black or all red. The show starts at 18h00.
Elemotho will be performing live at Cramer’s Ice Cream in Windhoek tomorrow. The guitarist will bare his soul on the strings from 19h00. Entrance is free.
DJ Crucial Selekta will be hosting the ‘Uptown Reggae Invasion’ at the Boiler Room. Expect roots, reggae and dancehall. The party begins at 20h00. Entrance is free. The Boiler Room is situated at the Warehouse Theatre in Windhoek’s Tal Street.
The Namibia Scientific Society is hosting the ‘Conservation Pioneers in Namibia and Stories by Game Rangers’ book launch by Peter Bridgeford on Tuesday, 19 February. The launch starts at 19h30.
‘Shy Wild’, an exhibition by Anne Lacheiner-Kuhn, takes place at The Project Room on Friday, 22 February, at 18h00. If you’re eager to see her understanding of the relationship between nature/environments and animals focusing on the human impact, make your way to the exhibition before it closes on 9 March. The Project Room is located at 32 Jenner Street in Windhoek.
