Telecom hires RedForce

State telecommunications company Telecom Namibia on Thursday announced it has signed a debt-collection agreement with RedForce Debt Management.

The company in a statement says new accounts in arrears will be handed to RedForce and Maudifam Enterprises, while Revenue Solutions Namibia will continue collecting debt on accounts which have been handed over.

The three companies are responsible for recovering all outstanding debt owed to Telecom by both fixed and mobile account holders.

“Once an account is handed over, customers are advised to make payment arrangements directly with RedForce, Maudifam or Revenue solutions,” the statement reads.

The company says all accounts handed over to the companies will be suspended and/or permanently disconnected until they are paid up.
