This is the first Namibian Sunday praise and worship show to air on local television, says founder and host Shacks Mwandingi.
Mwandingi and his brother John Spazza are well known in gospel music circles, as well as for hosting the Ngoma Awards.
Mwandingi says they will have live performances and musical bands on the show every Sunday.
“We have our vocals and band ready to feature artists, we are going to feature many gospel artists including Abner Mumbala and many more,” he says.
Mwandingi says the idea for the show was sparked when his brother Spazza, the owner of J-Focus Media, encouraged him to do something to build the gospel industry and give back to the community by supporting the Ngoma Awards.
“Gospel music is my life. I drink and sleep gospel every day. I have to finish what I started…
“I have an appointment with the future,” he says.
Mwandingi hopes that through the show they will be able to touch millions of people”;s lives and build Christ-centred generations that will go on to fulfil God”;s purpose for their lives.
“We have come to push this vision through our current agreement with “;One Gospel”; on DStv, where we have come up with a vast exchange programme for our music show starting in 2023, to push past their perceived boundaries, overcome their fears, and exceed their expectations.”
