Social Celebrity

Last week, like every week, several celebrity posts spread across the internet. As self-proclaimed fans of celebrity news, we followed, and these stories trend on social media for days.

To sweep it all under the umbrella of ‘celebrity trash’ and forget all about them just doesn’t feel right. So, let’s look at some posts that caught our attention recently.

The arrival of a new baby is always so exciting. Newborns represent life, hope and the promise of love. Over the past months there has been a lot of suspicion about Gazza’s wife’s condition. Golden’s bump has been questioned by journalists. We are, however, pleased to see Golden has finally confirmed the news. She recently took to social media, revealing several stunning photos of her pregnancy. We wish the couple happiness and success, and are looking forward to finally meeting the newest member of the Gazzlam family.

Crime is on the increase in our country and we feel sad whenever it happens. This time around Patrick Mwashindange, a member of the award-winning trio PDK, fell victim to these wicked acts. It appears the ‘Saka’ hitmaker lost some of his personal belongings in a theft recently after his car was broken into in Khomasdal in Windhoek.

“Some thief broke into my car, took my wallet with N$600, and two make-up kits worth N$8 000, so please keep an eye out for me for my wallet, [with] my ID and Bob cards, Patrik N Mwashindange, and if you see anyone selling make-up, please let me know,” the artist posted on social media on 12 February.

EES recently took to social media to celebrate what a good friend has done for him.

He posted a photo of them together and wrote: “Let me introduce you to my friend Lotto. We go way back – he was the guy that made me start my music career. He saw my talent and willingness to learn, and just one day in school told me he will visit me and we will record our first song together. I told him I knew how to record vocals, but asked him if he was serious. He persisted, so a few days later we actually recorded our first song on a tape deck. That was the moment I knew what I wanted to do in life. Thank you very much, Shihepo Lotto, for pushing me to record that first song.”

We all know the good feeling of receiving a compliment, but did you know that giving one makes you feel happier and can even improve your health?

So, let’s start saying nice things about each other.
