Sisa Namandje Foundation donates N$10 000 to father who lost two daughters in Mariental crash

Prominent lawyer Sisa Namandje has donated N$10 000 through the Sisa Namandje Foundation to Berend Jagger.

Jagger is the father of Diana Jagger and Roseltha Higoam, who both died in the accident near Mariental involving police and Namibian Correctional Service vehicles that claimed 16 lives on Saturday.

“Please accept our deepest condolences during this time of profound grief. The devastating news has sent shock waves across the country. To lose two daughters at once is an unimaginable tragedy, and our hearts go out to you and your family,” the Trust’s chairperson, Taimi Iileka-Amupanda, says.

The foundation says it is heartbreaking that Jagger has been left with the responsibility of raising seven orphaned children.

The money, which has already been paid into the account provided by the family, will assist with the immediate needs of the children.

“May you find strength and comfort in the love of those around you, and may the cherished memories of Diana and Roseltha live on in your hearts forever,” the foundation says.
