OUTJO mayor Marius Sheya has been appointed by President Hage Geingob as the new governor of the Kunene region this morning.
Sheya, who tirelessly supported Geingob during the campaigns leading to the Swapo Party elective congress, has replaced the late Kunene governor Angelika Muharukua who died in October.
