SEC Namibia hosts recycling art competition

School Environmental Club (SEC) Namibia recently hosted their inaugural Erongo Recycling Arts & Crafts Competition, bringing together young minds from across the region.

SEC says the aim of the competition was to “show that waste is not always the end of the story – it can be the beginning of something extraordinary”.

“The passion, creativity and teamwork displayed by our pupils were truly inspiring.

With limited time and recycled materials, they created projects that challenged us all to think differently about the waste we produce and the opportunities it holds,” it adds.

SEC thanks all pupils who participated, as well as teachers, sponsors and supporters, adding that the event was about learning, creating and proving that small actions can make a big difference.

“Congratulations to Kuisebmond Primary School, winners of the primary category, and Namibia High School, winners of the secondary category.

Your outstanding creations captured the spirit of innovation and sustainability,” SEC says
