SA nationals arrested in Sperrgebiet

POLICE at Oranjemund on Tuesday arrested two South Africans on charges of theft, entering the country illegal and entering a restricted area without a permit.

Andries Swartbooi (48) and Dawid Cloete were allegedly caught stealing 50 kg of copper wire valued at N$550 in the Sperrgebiet prohibited area near the Dapperas diamond mine.
