Red Carpet Looks at ‘Body with Maria Nepembe’ Premiere

Notable faces and figures mingled on the red carpet at the premiere of NBC’s highly anticipated ‘Body with Maria Nepembe’ at Grove Mall’s Ster Kinekor in Windhoek last weekend. Nothing short of glamourous, it was a multi-coloured affair as contestants from the show paraded their improved selves, and claimed their new title as reality television stars. The Weekender attended the exclusive launch and caught some looks from the red carpet.

REALITY TV STARS … Matthew Ipinge was a sight to see in a three-piece slim fit suit while Buruxa !Owos-ôas was a ray of sunshine in a mustard Sissy Boy outfit and a black chain bag to match.

SELF-STYLED … Monochrome Magazine’s Disney Andreas was her own stylist in this velvet look from her mother’s closet, recreating a modern winter outfit.

STUNNER … The star of the show, model and media personality Maria Nepembe looked glam from head to toe in shoes from Simmi Shoes, a one-shoulder piece from Misguided and hair to match courtesy of Hazel Creations. Not to forget the nails by Windhoek-based nail technician, Toni Did It.

MAN IN BLACK … Dolce and Kapana co-owner Hanso Diehl opted for an

all-black look for the premiere. The entrepreneur rocked pants from Woolworths, a Zara blazer and a rare pocket square by MyRepublik.

STRIKING … ‘Body with Maria Nepembe’ contestant and make-up artist Suoma Katshuna brought summer to the party in a flowery piece by online boutique Hermajesty, while her shimmery hair was courtesy of Nelao The Hair Queen.

HEAR ME ROAR … NBC host Robyn Nakaambo rocked a leopard-inspired trench coat by Riccini and added some simplicity to the look with a Zara bag while Superlative Hair was her lash and ponytail plug.
