Rahab resumes modelling career

Rahab Inghalwa has returned to her modelling career after a three-year break.

After a three-year break from the modelling industry, professional local and international runway model Rahab Inghalwa is back.

She spent the last three years concentrating on her schooling, developing her fashion line, Ravenda Posh, and establishing her non-profit organisation, Worthy Youth Foundation, in Namibia, according to Inghalwa’s United Kingdom media agency, Weltch Media.

“I have accomplished a lot in the last three years in my personal and professional life – something I couldn’t have done if I hadn’t paused my busy modelling travel life,” she told the agency.

She says she is glad to be back in the spotlight as a model and pick up where she left off.

“I’m working on perfecting my body in the studio right now, eating well, and making sure my body and soul are prepared for work. I want to get signed by a major agency in 2023 so I may fulfil my ambition of being a Victoria’s Secret model. I want to travel, acquire magazine covers, and do more photo sessions,” she said.

Inghalwa, has worked in the fashion and beauty industries for the past 14 years and has featured in fashion shows, designer collections, and magazines for major international fashion houses.

She told The Namibian last week that she is looking for significant performances abroad, particularly in Milan, Paris and New York.

“I have already returned to work, and I recently obtained an offer as a global ambassador for the international sunglasses manufacturer, Sojosvision, with whom I had previously collaborated since 2017. I’m eager to see where my joint work with another multinational sunglasses manufacturer, Lvioe Eyes Wear, will take me as of this year,” said Inghalwa.

She said the several projects she has lined up right now are a godsend and a dream come true for her.

In addition, she established Sincerely Posh, a fashion blog about her life as a model.

“This is really just about my life and the things I do on a daily basis.”

“I’ve been in a relationship since 2017, and I’m soon going to settle down. So, it’s an exciting future with family and work,” adds Inghalwa. “I’m still thinking about where I will be based in the future.”

She said her Ravenda Posh brand is now going through an innovation phase and she wants it to develop with her and a recently added blog.

Inghalwa was one of many foreign models to appear in the well-known humorous advertising video ‘With A T’, which was produced in the UK during the 2020 Covid shutdown.
