The police have asked members of the public to assist in tracing the whereabouts of 15-year-old Laurika Cloete.
Cloete is said to be a Damara/Nama with short, plaited black hair.
She went missing on Saturday from the Ella Du Plessis High School’s girls’ hostel where she is a pupil.
“Laurika Cloete was previously reported missing on Monday, 20 January, at the same hostel and was found on Friday, 31 January, in Windhoek West and was taken back at the hostel. On Saturday morning, 1 February, the hostel pupils were released as they were to host a concert later during that evening,” the police say.
“When the pupils returned . . . she was nowhere to be found. Her mother was informed and attempts to find her were in vain. She was last seen at Ella Du Plessis hostel wearing a grey skirt, white school shirt and a green jersey,” the police have said.
Anyone with information of her whereabouts is requested to contact detective senior inspector Christoph at 081 369 9314, 081 708 6940 or 081 227 5011 or report it at the nearest police station.
