Oshakati businessman and Up-Market Investments managing director Nalitye Angolo donated ten computers and stationery worth N$75 000 to Okau Combined School in the Oshana region on Friday.
Speaking at the handover, Angolo said the donation is part of the company’s social responsibility.
He said the gesture is “out of love” for his community and that he believes in ploughing back into the community.
“Everything is becoming computerised lately and for a Namibian child to catch up and prosper at a better pace, information and communication technology should be taught at an early age, hence the thought of donating computers,” Angolo said.
