On MTC And NBC

On MTC And NBC

I HAVE some remarks on NBC and MTC.

1. NBC Who is the genius who decided to repeat the 20h00 news bulletin at 22h00? Repeating the same news while news around the world is changing every second. Sometimes they start the bulletin with the headlines while at other times they just start reading the news.2. MTC Their advertisements say that they “make the connection” but they break the connection.(I) The service that they advertise, where you can choose whether you want to be charged by the second or minute, is not free in Namibia but they don’t say that in the advertisement. It is free in Botswana and South Africa.(ii) When I want to make an overseas call from Namibia I must have at least N$12 credit but making a call from South Africa or Botswana I need much less credit.(iii) Since MTC is the only service provider, the quality of its service leaves much to be desired. This will improve only if the market is opened to other companies.Hussein Abdou Via e-mailSometimes they start the bulletin with the headlines while at other times they just start reading the news.2.
