A female Namibia Defence Force (NDF) soldier was declared dead on Sunday at Okahandja after she was trapped in a vehicle which had rammed into a residential block.
Namibian Police regional community liaison officer, senior inspector Maureen Mbeha said the woman, who is yet to be identified, was reversing her vehicle when it hit the building.
“She got stuck in the car, emergency services are at the scene. Unfortunately, she has been declared dead. More details will follow,” Mbeha said.
