Nujoma’s legacy lives on – AR

Sam Nujoma

Affirmative Repositioning (AR) spokesperson George Kambala says the death of the founding father Sam Nujoma leaves a void in many people’s hearts.

“His legacy will forever echo in the history of our struggle for freedom, justice and equality,” he said yesterday.
Kambala said Nujoma was more than a political leader; he was the embodiment of resistance against colonialism and imperialism.

He said as the commander of the People’s Liberation Army of Namibia, Nujoma led with unwavering determination, guiding his people through decades of armed struggle. His leadership ensured that the fight for Namibia’s liberation was not only sustained but grew into a force capable of challenging the apartheid regime.

Kambala said Nujoma’s strategic leadership on the battlefield, alongside his diplomatic efforts, brought Namibia closer to achieving independence.
“We stand united in our grief, but we also stand resolute in our commitment to carrying forward the revolutionary ideals that Sam Nujoma instilled in us. His legacy will never be forgotten,” he stated.
