Prime minister Elijah Ngurare has pledged government support to address challenges faced by Kaisosi Combined School in the Kavango East region.
Speaking during a visit to the school on Friday, Ngurare said urgent issues such as water shortages, lack of teaching resources and the high number of vulnerable pupils need intervention.
“The only licence out of poverty is education,” he said.
He said the school is dealing with more than 300 orphans and about 130 pupils without identification documents, which affects access to services.
Ngurare said the government will step in to support the school in addressing these challenges.
