Reimagining August Wilson’s ‘Fences’ on the national stage and fascinating in the performance element of ‘Ma Ndili’, award-winning theatre maker Nelago Shilongoh closed the year challenging the ubiquity of patriarchal colonial-era monuments alongside the project’s co-creator Shomwatala Shivute.
