1. Off The Record (YouTube)

Off The Record is a podcast hosted by Namibian media practitioners Shona Ngava, Micheal Kayunde and Vernon van Wyk, and created to discuss topics about the entertainment business that mainstream media often neglects.

The show discusses and debates a wide array of entertainment industry specific topics such as the exploitation of creatives in the industry and how record labels work. The group has even hosted a guest appearance by DJ Spuzza.

Hosted by Alisa Haludilu, Have a Laugh w Lisa is a podcast delving into pivotal topics that every person can relate to and grow from. Its style is lighthearted, sometimes roastful but always fun and chatty.

4. Butterflies and Blue (butterfliesandblue.blogspot.com)

Butterflies and Blue has an airy feel about it. Written by Diana Hamalwa (also known as Yana) who, in her own words, is your “average multidimensional young woman that loves an adventure”. Hamalwa writes on places she’s visited, especially at her hometown, Swakopmund. Her blog also features book reviews.

5. Ndapewoshali Writes (website and YouTube)

This is a blog accompanied by a YouTube channel by Ndapewoshali Ndahafa Ashipala.

Her blog posts topics on spirituality, money and finance and most prominently, mental wellness.

She hosts guests from different backgrounds and industries regularly on her channel, as well as features written works by other writers on her blog. It’s an endless, or seemingly so, library of useful and informative resources at your disposal.

6. The Masturbatorium with JuliArt (Mixcloud)

The Masturbatorium with JuliArt is a podcast by Namibian nude art photographer, body activist, sex educator and performance artist Julia Hango, also referred to as JuliArt. The podcast touches on everything erotica and also features interviews in what is described as a “safe space” to discuss and dissect “sex, intimacy, sensuality and the body,” from a standpoint like no other.

7. Namibia’s Hot Tea (YouTube)

This anonymously hosted audio YouTube blog boasts over 5 000 000 views in total, and over 50 000 YouTube subscribers.
